Today I’m announcing a brand new addition to my Substack publication: the Adoption Subsidy in Ohio by Tim O'Hanlon subscriber chat. I am introducing the new Chat function to subscribers to find out more about parents' and advocates experiences with adoption assistance across Ohio in 2023. To start, I invite you to post information about
1. The negotiation of adoption assistance, successes, problems and amounts.
2. Mediations, the process and results.
3. The Ohio Adoption Grants, outcomes.
I would like to hear about your own experiences or those of other parents you are familiar with, with their permission of course. Their names will be kept confidential. Depending on areas of interest, we can create different discussion threads as we move forward.
I am hoping that the Chat function can be used to collect information, identify problems and policy issues, answer questions, learn more about "what works," provide topics for regular posts and encourage dialogues among parents.
